Guidelines
Hairtrader accepts returns on the basis that the goods have been un-opened, un-used and are in a resalable condition. This means all product packaging and tamper proof seals must be intact. Some manufacturers like GHD have security seals on their boxes, if these seals are broken then the item cannot be re-sold and the return will not be accepted by us.
Faulty Returns
In the event that your goods are being returned because they are faulty, Hairtrader Ltd will be responsible for replacement product postage costs. In the event that we find the goods are not faulty, yet they have still been returned to us we reserve the right to make a charge for postage and administration. Please note that some manufacturers like T3 and Ghd require the faulty item to be returned direct to them for replacement. You will be notified of this if relevant.
Returning the Goods
Our preferred method of return would be too first Email us (
Click Here ) with the Subject ' HT Return request - 00000 ' (Where 00000 is the order number shown on your emailed invoice or on the paperwork in the delivery package). Please ensure you detail the products you wish to return and reason why.
If you would prefer you can call us by Telephone 0844 3350133 to arrange a return, please have to hand your order number if possible so you can be issued with a returns number without delay.
Please pack the products with care because if you fail to pack the parcel well and your goods arrive damaged (as a result of the return trip) we may not be able to process your return. You should obtain a receipt for the parcel when you send it which is free from Royal mail if you decide to use this method, just ask at the post office for 'Proof of sending' receipt.
We will process the return normally within 2 working days of it arriving. Note: If an refund is issued it can take upto a maximum of 28 days for the funds to clear back into your account. This process is fully automated byt the banks and we have no control over the time factor. Normal time delay is around 7 days. Please read our Terms policy for any further information.
